El dorado hops

Using assets from the existing brand guidelines, I designed a website for El Dorado Hops to showcase their hops farm. Moving away from the original Las Vegas theme, I incorporated infographics to educate visitors about the history and applications of their products, it highlights the farm’s story and product use cases in a digestible manner. Additionally, I updated their brand guidelines’ to provide them with a digital form that included filters and imagery that can be used for their social medias.

I worked alongside the business owners and gathered preexisting assets in order to develop a cohesive design system that would work for its web designs and on social media platforms.

Research

Outcome

I created a new implementation system for the brand’s colors and iconography to serve its purpose. I assessed the core elements of the existing brand design, including their use of typography and tone. I restructured the site to give it a more action-forward but less gamble feel to become more efficient and cohesive with a site that wishes to provide information to its readers. I developed and expanded its iconography library, created new rules for photography usage, and documented it within its design system.
