Hi, I’m Elina Wang.

A designer, illustrator-hobbyist, caffeine addict, sticker collector, gamer, and caffeine addict. Whoops, I said something twice didn’t I?

Bucket list:

1. Figure out teleportation.

2. Explain why weird is cool & boring shouldn’t be a norm.

3. Convince myself that I should no longer be acrophobic.

4. Rethink my caffeine addiction.

5. Uninstall cookie clicker before it’s too late. TOO LATE.

6. Solve a monochromatic puzzle.

7. Rethink bucket list.

My long-term goal for the future is to be able to teach design specifically to students in junior/community college. My passions and relationships with my professors stem from my community college experience. Between now and then, I wish to host workshops and teaching sessions to people about the programs, the opportunities, and what design can bring to the table for them. I believe that design is inclusive, I believe that design is fundamental, but most importantly, I believe that design is what it is: design. Design is what stems from a baseline of ambition and possibility. What can we achieve that can better the lives of everyday people?
